This surge has pushed CAT into the top ranks of coins by trading volume in the last 24 hours. According to GeckoTerminal, CAT is now the third most-traded coin on DEXs.

The exchange revealed its support for a CAT airdrop, which has sparked excitement. The final snapshot for this event is scheduled for 29 August. 

FLOKI holders meeting the eligibility criteria can participate in the airdrop. This news likely spurred the surge in CAT trading, particularly on DEXs.

Price Decline Fuels Trading Activity

Despite the high trading volume, Simon’s Cat has experienced a notable price drop. Over the last 24 hours, the token’s price has decreased by 4.9%, currently trading around $0.00002231.
